What we collect

When you submit a quote, send us an email, or visit the site, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, the addresses involved in your move, and any details you share about the items being moved or the timeline. We collect anonymised analytics about how the site is used.

Why we hold it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and run your move if it goes ahead. We retain quote correspondence for two years from the last contact, and move records for seven years for accounting and insurance purposes.

Who sees it

Only the partner running your move and the colleagues directly assisting them. We share information with carriers, customs agents, and insurers only when it is needed to complete your move. We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of first-party cookies for site preferences (remembering that you have closed the cookie banner, for example) and an anonymised analytics cookie to understand traffic patterns. You can decline non-essential cookies in the banner that appears on your first visit.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop processing it. Write to louis.l@bellereaux.co.uk and we will respond within a working day.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
